1. Do Play Credits have any real-world monetary value?
No. Every scholar receives 100,000 Play Credits free of charge upon registration. Play Credits are strictly fictional simulation units used to experience our six browser games. They cannot be purchased, transferred, or redeemed for money, vouchers, or prizes.
2. Why do I need to sign in or register before launching a game chamber?
Merlin Play Hub is an adult (18+) entertainment platform. Requiring scholar sign-in before rendering any game <iframe> ensures every player has completed 18+ age verification, maintains an active session reminder timer, and has access to self-imposed Account Breaks.
3. Can I sign in with either my Screen Name or my Email Address?
Yes. Both the global sign-in modal and our dedicated Login page accept either your registered email address or your unique Screen Name (`2–30` characters, case-insensitive) alongside your password.
4. How do Wax Sigils and the Survey Orrery randomizer work?
Clicking Seal on any folio stamps your personal wax sigil onto that game and saves it in your browser (`mph:claims`). Clicking Survey Orrery uses cryptographic randomness to pick one of the folios you have not yet sealed and slides open its inspection plate.
5. Can an active Account Break be lifted early by support?
No. When you activate a 24-hour, 7-day, 30-day, or 6-month break on the Player Care page, the lock is enforced server-side until the exact expiration timestamp. Neither you nor our support curators can shorten an active break early.
